Poem: Corner of Main and 82nd

You see him stand on the corner of Main and 82nd.
He stands there day and night.
Like the stop light that never walks home.

One, two, three people walk by,
Paying no attention to the man.
The fourth person to walk by happened to be a 6 year old with her mother.

The little girl looked at her mom and said,
"May I give him my dollar?," as she pointed at the man.
With a leery look from her mother, she replied,
"Okay."

As the little girl lifted the dollar up towards the man,
He smiled a thankful smile, accepted the dollar and said,
"Thank you, sweet child!"

But what the little girl didn't know was that
She was the first and only person
To show kindness and compassion to the man on the corner.

The man on the corner was so grateful that a 6 year old
Would care for a fowl man like himself.

Picture Paragraph

       Community Centers have all kinds of gatherings, but the most important gathering that the Bethesda Community Center has is the Halloween Carnival and Haunted House. I go every year! I love the smell of the chainsaw fumes, the popcorn, and the awesome BBQ sandwhiches. Just the sight of everyone I know, the fake blood, and "monsters" makes me even more excited for next year. When I get hungry I always get a BBQ sandwhich and a soda, along with all the assorted candy that I've collected throughout the afternoon. After I get done tasting the scrumptious food, I stand in line outside the entrance to the Haunted House just iching to go inside. While waiting I hear the screams of the victums before me, the creepy music, and laughter from the people watching the victums exit the Haunted House. While going through the Haunted House I feel the black trash bag entry ways hit my back as I walk through them, and I accidentally punch a "monster" that has scared me as I hold on to the person in front of me. I am glad that my town has a Community Center, so that we can have the Halloween Carnival and the Haunted House to make money, and build a better Community with that money.

      The tone of this advertisment is humorous, sad, and informative. This ad is humorous because the dog "accidentally" kills the birdwith his bad breath, and because the bird is dead. The ad is sad because the bird is dead and not alive anymore. This ad is also informative because the owners should have learned that a dog's breath stinks really bad.
       The purpose of this advertisment is to get dog owners to buy Dentastix to cure their dogs bad breath. The dog kills the bird with his bad breath and the dog wishes that his owners would have given him Dentastix so the bird wouln't have died.
        So, if you give your dog Dentastix you won't have to get another bird, and you and your guests won't have to smell your dog's horrid breath.

I Am

I am crazy and kind
I wonder why the sky is blue
I hear the platapus talking to me
I see Eric's chocolate pony
I want my grandma to live longer than me
I am crazy and kind

I pretend to be a fairy
I feel a marshmallow, rainbow unicorns mane
I touch the sky
I worry about my family
I cry when I hear that song
I am crazy and kind

I understand death
I say GET OVER IT
I dream about weird stuff
I try to make good grades
I hope to be successful
